About this project

Ollama is a tool for getting up and running with open large language models such as Kimi-K2.6, GLM-5.2, MiniMax, DeepSeek, gpt-oss, Qwen and Gemma on your own machine. It is written in Go and ships as downloads for macOS, Windows and Linux, plus an official Docker image, with Python and JavaScript client libraries. Once installed you can run a model directly or connect Ollama to existing agents and coding tools including Claude Code, Codex, Copilot CLI, OpenCode and OpenClaw, making it a fit for developers who want to build with and use open models locally.
